Giants Ridge! Recreation Area is located in the heart of Minnesota’s Mesabi Iron Range. It offers many activities, including alpine and Nordic skiing, with one of the best terrain parks available. The average snowfall of 62 inches ensures excellent conditions for winter sports, and with a vertical elevation of 500 feet and 165 skiable acres, you’ll have plenty of room to explore. The difficulty breakdown of the slopes, which includes 33% easy, 50% challenging, and 17% very difficult, means there’s something for everyone.
